Member Referral Analysis

The Member Referral Analysis dashboard helps you measure how your member referrals contribute to new members and revenue, and identify which clubs and members are driving the most referral impact.   The dashboard includes summary views, trend views over time, and a “top referrers” detail view so you can move from what’s happening to who is driving it.

This dashboard includes multiple tab views that present your referral program metrics in different ways:

  • Referral Analysis: Compare referral performance across your Clubs or attributes of the referred members, such as membership type group, salesperson, age group, gender, etc.

  • Trends: Visualize a selected referral metric over time, sliced by club or attribute of the referred members.

  • Top Referrers: Rank individual referring members and review the volume and value of the members they referred.

  • Data Table / Trends Data Table: The underlying detail supporting the summary and trend views (useful for exporting and deeper analysis).

  • Measure referral contribution to dues and revenue impact.

  • Evaluate the quality of referred members using active status and lifetime spend.

Metric Definitions

  • Referring Members: Count of unique members who made at least one referral in the selected date range.

  • % of Total Members Referring: Referring Members as a percentage of total members in the selected date range.

  • Referred New Members: Count of new members attributed to referrals in the selected date range.

  • % of New Members Referred: Referred New Members as a percentage of all new members in the selected date range.

  • Referred New Monthly Dues: Monthly dues associated with referred new members in the selected date range.

  • % of New Dues Referred: Referred New Monthly Dues as a percentage of total new-member monthly dues in the selected date range.

  • Member Referrals per Member: Average number of referrals per referring member in the selected date range.

  • Lifetime Spend of Referred Members: Lifetime spend attributed to members who joined via referral.

  • Referred New Members in Date Range (Top Referrers): Number of referred new members credited to a specific referring member during the selected date range.

  • Lifetime Referred New Members (Top Referrers): Total referred new members credited to a specific referring member over their lifetime.

  • Referred Members Still Active (Top Referrers): Count of that member’s referred members who are currently active.

  • % of Referred Members Still Active (Top Referrers): Percentage of that member’s referred members who are currently active.
