Release Notes May 7, 2026

This release makes Easalytics easier to navigate and adds more actionable reporting across leads, members, revenue, personal training, and events.

We also made several data quality improvements, especially for Club Automation clients, and added a new convenience feature for AI Analyst beta users.

Known issue: We’ve identified an issue in Chrome and Edge browsers where customizing topline dashboards by moving widgets within a layout may cause the browser to crash.

  • For Chrome or Edge, please update to the latest version by going to Settings > About Chrome / Edge, allowing the update to install, and then selecting Relaunch. Chrome / Edge version 147 is affected; versions above (148) or below 147 appear to be working as expected.

  • If you have any trouble customizing the topline dashboards contact Support for assistance.

Here are the key updates in the release:

Navigation & Usability

Hover Dropdowns for Favorites, Recent, and SmartSights

The Favorites, Recent, and SmartSights links in the top navigation now include dropdown menus. Hover over any of these and select a dashboard directly — no need to open a separate page first.
 

Dashboard Category Updates

Dashboards in the Left Navigation and Report Finder have been reorganized to reduce duplication and make it easier to find what you need. Key changes:

  • Goals now has its own section
  • Duplicate dashboard listings were removed
  • Class was renamed to Events to better represent classes, PT, reservations, and other scheduled activity
  • Employees was added as a new report section

Homepage Topline Widget Category Updates

The Homepage Topline customizable widget list has been updated to match the new dashboard organization. Goals widgets are now separated into their own area at the bottom of the list, while still grouped with their related metric category (e.g., Goals - Personal Training widgets remain grouped together).
 

Member and Leads Reporting Updates

New Pending Cancel status for Club Automation

For Club Automation clients, we added a new Pending Cancel member status, which gives a view of members who have requested cancellation but are still active through a future end date.

Important details:

  • Pending Cancel members are still counted as active in Easalytics
  • Members are only marked inactive and lost after their official end date has passed
  • Pending Cancel details are available in membership reporting and Member List
  • Member List now includes the Pending Cancel status, status date, and status reason

Member Mix

Member Mix main tab has a new Freeze Dues metric to easily view the total amount of monthly dues on Freeze. The Member Analysis tab now includes:

  • Freeze Dues
  • New member value metrics
  • Lost member value metrics
  • Net membership and dues changes

This update is intended to help clubs better understand the full movement of membership value during the selected reporting period.
 

New PIF Membership info added to New Member Details

The New Member Details dashboard now includes PIF Amount and PIF Membership Length for paid-in-full memberships. 

These fields complement existing recurring dues information and make it easier to compare new member value across different membership types.
 

Guest Pass reporting added to Lead Conversion dashboard

Based on client request, we added the first version of Guest Pass reporting for clients integrated with Engage Pro / VFP.  In the Leads dashboard, users can now analyze lead and conversion performance by Guest Pass, along with other lead attributes.

This update can help teams better understand:

  • Which Guest Pass sources are driving leads
  • How Guest Pass leads are converting
  • Trends across different lead types and attributes

We plan to continue expanding this dashboard based on client feedback. In a future release, we expect to add drilldowns into specific member and lead details directly from the dashboard.
 

Revenue Reporting

Revenue Compare — Tax Toggle and View by Item

Revenue Compare now includes more flexible reporting options.  Users can now:

  • Include or exclude tax
  • View revenue by item

This makes it easier to compare revenue from a high-level Profit Center Group view down to the specific items sold, giving teams more granular visibility into where revenue is coming from and how it changes across locations, time periods, and categories.  Only available for clients using ABC and Club Automation. 
 

Member Average Revenue — Simplified Tabs and New Filters

We simplified the Member Average Revenue dashboard by consolidating tabs and adding Profit Center and Profit Center Group filters, making it easier to analyze average revenue per member across different spending categories.
 

Club Automation Accrual Revenue Updates

Revenue for Club Automation clients using accrual accounting should now more closely align with the Club Automation Transaction Summary report.
 

Personal Training Reporting

PT Sales Revenue & Enrollment updates

The main PT Sales & Revenue view includes new metrics such as:

  • Recurring PT EFT Draft
  • Freeze Draft
  • Newly Frozen EFT Draft
  • Off Freeze PT EFT Draft
  • Lost PT EFT Draft
  • PT EFT Draft Attrition %
  • Expiring and Freezing PT EFT Draft Next 30 Days

Additional dashboard updates include:

  • A new PT Member Sales tab that shows similar lifecycle information by member count
  • The Data Table tab now includes all available PT metrics for Excel export
  • Demographic drilldowns are available from both Sales and PT Member Sales
  • PT Transaction List, PT Members, and Period Compare tabs remain available

  • A Related Dashboards tab was added, making it easier to find and move between connected PT reports.

Admin setup note: To get the most value from PT reporting, service items should be grouped and maintained in the Easalytics Service Item Grouping admin page.

Service items in a group flagged as PT are included in PT reporting. Recurring sales are reported as PT EFT Draft, and paid-in-full sales are reported as PT PIF Sales.
 

PT Intro Close updates

PT Intro Close now uses EFT Draft amount instead of first payment amount on the PT Scorecard, Salesperson Performance, and Trainer Performance dashboards and homepage Topline widgets. 

We also updated PT Close % and PT Close $ to apply PT EFT Adjustment logic.  Packages cancelled or refunded within 30 days are removed from the close calculation.
 

PT Scorecard updates

PT Scorecard now includes an alternate PT Scorecard Alt View link at the top, providing a view that is less focused on goals and more focused on future PT Intro Set pipeline.
 

PT Sales Trends updates

PT Sales Trends now includes two additional metrics: Cancelled PT EFT Draft amount and Net PT EFT Draft amount.
 

Event Reporting

New Location Detail reporting in Event Attendance

We expanded the Event Attendance dashboard with new Location Detail views.  These updates give teams better visibility into how individual spaces and resources are being used (e.g. Courts, Swim lanes, Turf areas, Studios, etc.).  The new Location Detail Analysis tab shows:

  • Events by location and resource
  • Cancellation rates
  • Hours utilized
  • Pending activity
    • Completed activity
  • Other resource-level event metrics

We also added a Location Detail by Day & Time heatmap, making it easier to identify the strongest and weakest times by resource.

From the analysis view, users can drill into the Event Location Details tab to see the specific events behind the numbers.

This reporting includes PT, classes, and other scheduled events.  Event grouping and categorization can be managed in the Easalytics Event Grouping admin page.

We plan to add member and attendee-level drilldowns in a future release.
 

AI Analyst

For AI Analyst beta users, we added the ability to duplicate a chat.  

To duplicate a chat, open the action menu from the AI Analyst left navigation and select the new duplicate option.

Limited beta: AI Analyst is currently available only to select clients as a beta trial, but it is rapidly maturing into a powerful, time-saving tool. Contact sales@easalytics.com if you are interested in access or a demo.
 

Other Noteworthy Updates

We made several data quality and reporting improvements, including:

  • Updated club assignment for Club Automation members to use Home Club instead of Location of Sale
  • Fixed Dues Paying Member counts for Club Automation so non-primary members are included where appropriate
  • Fixed missing PIF amounts for Club Automation members in New Member Detail, Expiring Memberships, and Member Mix
  • Continued backend and reporting quality updates
